I started working as a professional make-up artist in London at the age of 19 in 2007. I completed an Art Foundation at London College of Fashion and specialised in theatre make-up. I then completed a 3 month intensive course in make-up, hair styling and wigs for film and TV at Christine Blundell Make-up Academy.

I gained a trainee position on  BBC comedy ‘Jam and Jerusalem’ starring Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders. From there I went on to work on many TV series and feature films, doing makeup and hair on main cast or in the crowd room doing hair and make-up for the extras. I have experience in make-up of all kinds such as fashion, editorial, period looks, special effects, wounds, prosthetics, facial hair. 

 

I have been lucky enough to have been makeup artist and hair stylist to Margot Robbie, Kylie Minogue, Emma Thompson, Stephen Graham, Sally Phillips, Vanessa Redgrave, Mel Giedroyc and Tara Fitzgerald. More recently I returned to college to obtain my hair dressing qualification and now work part time at a busy Norfolk Hair Salon.

 

I have always loved helping people to feel their best and using my skills in makeup and hair for this purpose is a passion of mine. I recognise the importance of listening to the client about what they want but also love the opportunity to offer advice abou styles or colours that would work well for them. I do all I can to create a calming  and nurturing atmosphere in the room and my goal is to create a look that enables you to feel the version of you!
